Our Baby Bucket List!
So I'm a sucker for to-do lists! (Sometimes, I write things down just so I can cross them off!) Cory hates the lists, but it's been proven that we'll (he'll) get more done if we (I) write it down! :)
Here's our to-do list before Brynlee is born. (Starred items are priorities!):
Stuff to do.......
*Buy room accessories for Brynlee (table, lamp, other decor)
*Finish/clean up the basement to be more "play" friendly
*Reorganize storage (including filing systems!!) in the BASEMENT. Upstairs closets & main level are FINISHED!!
*Have a garage sale (with all the stuff we got rid of after reorganizing the storage! haha) -- UPDATE: Give our stuff to Goodwill! Less work, less time, and we wouldn't make enough money to make it worth a garage sale anyway!
-Repaint Cory's & my bedroom to match our new colors/decor
-Hang Cory's & my wall decor in our bedroom
-Find & install master bathroom storage cabinet
*ONGOING - Do family activities with "just Cade": Adventureland, Science Center, Blank Park Zoo & take Cade fishing!! (I have ANOTHER list for this stuff, as a word doc saved on our desktop! Many events are already planned or have dates set!)
-ONGOING - Put things on our Wishpot account to let others know what we need but also to have as (another) list for us to remember!
-ONGOING - Buy diapers in ALL sizes & lots of wipes as we get coupons to have a good supply as she grows!

-Enroll Cade in an "older sibling" class - JUNE 24!! YAY! :)
-ONGOING - Diapers: one NB size, several size 1, several size 2, one size 3! Wipes: one jumbo box
-Reorganize all bedroom closets & pack away unnecessary items for garage sale!
-Reorganize kitchen cabinets to fit in bottles & other baby stuff! LOTS of stuff for garage sale, too!!
-Get a belly cast kit to make as part of Brynlee's room decor
*Get thank-yous and start writing them as we get things!!!
*Start Brynlee a baby book
*Get a memory box
*Decide on Brynlee's decor and make whatever I need to - letters for initials & picture frame for first family picture & scrapbook paper & accessories to decorate!!
-2 crib sheets, window valance, crib skirt & a couple blankets bought!
*Get a Sit & Stand stroller (My mom got us this so YAY!!!!! Check!!)
*Paint Brynlee's room!
*Paint Cade's room!
*Get a frame for Cade's bed to use the crib for Brynlee!
-Put the crib up :)
*Find Cade a dresser (his now will go to Brynlee)
-All baby things moved from my parents' basement/house to our house! Where, oh where to put it all?!?!
-Make arrangements for Cade's care when I go into labor & when we're in the hospital (THANKS BRIDGET & CORY!)
-Weed through Cade's baby toys & toys he doesn't play with. Save some for Brynlee, get rid of the rest!
*"Remodel" Cade's closet! FINALLY his clothes are in HIS room!!!! :)
-Wash & put away baby laundry....in HER closet! :)
-Buy rug for Brynlee's room
-FAMILY ACTIVITIES UPDATE: We've been to the zoo, Cade has gone fishing and we've done a lot of park/backyard play so far in the nice weather!
*Finish remodeling the staircase(s)
*Buy, paint and hang trim and shelf in Cade & Brynlee's rooms
*Make belly cast (34-36 wks?, just in case she's early like her brother!) & decorate. Buy frame to hang it in. Look here for the ideas I'm going to use!
-Decide on breastfeeding/pumping systems & get supplies needed.
-Buy a baby food cookbook. I'm excited to try this!!
-Test the things we used with Cade (swing, monitors, etc.) to make sure everything is still in working order. Replace whatever needed.
-Pack hospital bag
-Look for birth announcements to order as soon as we can!
